  The entrance to Beningbrough Park was built in the late   18th century for Margaret and Gilbert Bourchier, and       possibly designed by James Wyatt. 

  The archway is identical to the one at the entrance to   Thirkleby Hall at BAGBY, North Riding, which was   designed by James Wyatt in about 1780.
