WITHERNSEA, East Riding
Gateway to the Sea TA 343 279

The once 2000 feet long pier at Withernsea was hit several times by vessels and all that remains is the entrance that was modelled on Conwy Castle.
One of the towers became a lifeguard station in the 1950s and then a gift-shop.
