The bridge at Brough Park was designed by John Foss in about 1790 for Sir John Lawson.

There is a similar one nearby on the Tunstall Road.

Brough Park Gate Piers                                   SE 215 981

The four 19th century ashlar sandstone gate piers were moved from their original position at SE 221 981 in 1979 to create a new entrance to the Brough Park apartments. The lettering 'BROUGH PARK' is from that date.
